Privacy Policy - Demo Coaching Demo Coaching runs online English speaking courses on the MJX Learn app and through the MJX Pathshala platform. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, why, who can see it, and your rights. 1. What Information We Collect When you sign up and use our courses, we collect: - Your name and mobile number (required to sign in) - Your email address (only if you choose to provide it) - A profile picture if you upload one (must be a photo of your own face) - Your device's location, recorded once at sign-in to protect your account - Questions and doubts you ask, with any text, screenshots or files you send - Assignments you submit with photos or PDFs - Your course activity and marks We do not ask for a password. You sign in using a one-time code (OTP) sent to your mobile number. 2. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: - Create and manage your course account - Deliver course videos, PDFs and materials to you - Let teachers answer your doubts and grade your assignments - Allow an AI tool to answer questions about course topics - Check that your account is not being shared illegally - Send course updates and reminders by app notification and WhatsApp - Process refunds if you request one 3. Watermarks on Course Materials Videos and PDFs you download carry a watermark with your name and mobile number. This is to discourage copying and sharing of course content. 4. Who Sees Your Information - Your name and profile picture are seen by the teacher when you ask a doubt - Your doubts, assignments and files are seen only by the teacher teaching that course - Your device location is stored securely and shown to nobody - Marks are kept and visible to you - Your payment card and UPI details are not seen by Demo Coaching; they go directly to Razorpay, our payment processor 5. Payment Information Payments for courses are processed by Razorpay. Your card and UPI details are sent to Razorpay and not stored by or shared with Demo Coaching. Razorpay handles this information under their own privacy rules. Demo Coaching only receives confirmation that payment was made. 6. Refunds If you request a refund within 15 days of purchase, we can approve it only if you have watched fewer than 2 videos and consumed less than half the course. Once approved, the refund is processed by Razorpay and reaches your account in 4 to 7 working days. 7. How Long We Keep Your Information - Your name, mobile number and email are kept as long as your account exists - Files you upload (doubts, assignments, screenshots, PDFs) are deleted one month after your course access ends - Marks are kept permanently - Device location data is stored securely and deleted after it is no longer needed 8. Course Access and Ending Your Account Your access to a course lasts for the period you paid for when you bought it. Your access will end when this period expires. We may also end your access if you break these terms, such as by sharing your account with others. 9. Your Rights Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to: - Know what personal information we hold about you - Ask for a copy of your information - Ask us to correct information that is wrong - Ask us to delete your information, except where we must keep it by law - Ask us to stop using your information for certain purposes 10.
